Hi all,
I just ordered a replacement throttle cable for my BX2200 and will be replacing it in couple of days. It looks like a fairly easy job, but for those that have done it are there any tips or gotcha's I should know?

THanks

one thing to make it easier is to ? Before pulling the cable out tie a string [ thats long enough] to one end then pull it out. Then tie the string onto the new cable and pull it back in.

Can you share a part number? Mine had had throttle issues when hot since I got it three years ago with 900hrs. Turns out the cable jacket was getting cooked.

Once I find a replacement, I’m going to have to figure out how this thing is supposed to routed!

K2561-45150. $25 if I remember correctly.

Replacing it is super easy. It took me about 10-15 minutes. There are adjusters at the end of the cable sheathing on each end. Threaded with 2 nuts.
Each end is secured to the throttle and IP by a cotter pin.
I had to remove the grommet that it runs through in the firewall to feed the cable through, but it is easily accessible.

Cool. Thanks! A local place ordered one for me. I’m a little nervous about how assembled it is, but we’ll see!
