BX2200 Help

Purchased a used BX2200 w/60" belly mower. Can't get the blade control height knob to turn. What am I missing???

I recently bought a 2004 BX 23 that I suspect has never had a belly mower on it so the knob probably hadn't been turned for years if ever. It was stuck in the 3.5 position. I thought I would give penetrating oil a try but I didn't have much faith. I was surprised when within a couple of hours it freed up and works well now. Good Luck.

I recall a post where someone mentioned using heat to loosen the knob.
Start with the oil first though.

It won't move unless you deck is in the full up position...just a thought
