i see i have 3 holes on each side (plastic plugs in the threded holes now)of the seat has any one added arm rest's to their seat? my dealer said they do not have a listing in there parts list ,i also told the parts person the seat looks like a seat off a GR2120 but the seat part numbers are different from a BX. so is it possible to find a set? or do Gr 2120 armrest fit?

My GR 2120 did not come with armrests but I ordered them at the time of sale from the dealer. I think a few quick measurements would tell the story. If the parts guy is not being helpful Go see a salesman, they are in business to sell stuff!

Maybe you had someone remove them. I did a job requiring removal of fenders and the arm rests had to come off then. Anyhow, my stepgrandson 21 years old put them back on. However, they are secured with brass fittings set in the plastic. Strong guy turned them a little hard and one stripped off. So a word to the wise, don't get too carried away when attaching.
Uhm no! The 1870 comes with a standard vinyl seat asy. The 23 and 26 come with a deluxe seat that has arm rest, manual storage spot on the back of the seat and a reclining back.
I did not recall an arm rest kit for the standard seat and I just checked the Kubota online wholegoods and no luck, and also checked aftermarket orange same result!
I don't have a 1870 seat in front of my right now. But another thought is the are rest kit from Simplicity champion XT. Three hole design. Part#1686907SM

ok found out the arm rest kit that i bought is for a Ariens tractor fits my 1870, i have seen a kit on e bay for $50, Ariens EZR ARM REST KIT 787078 ebay item 121993718844
