The steering on my BX1500 has become very sloppy and irregular. Sometimes when driving while cutting grass or using the loader the wheels don't respond to me turning the steering wheel. I will either have to turn the steering wheel a good half turn before the wheels respond or I have to stop any forward motion, then turn the wheels and then start driving again in the direction I want to go. I have not been able to find out any information on this type of symptoms. I have recently changed the transmission oil, put on a new tranny oil filter and cleaned the screen. It seems better but still sloppy and loose. Does anyone have any thoughts on this problem. Is there an oil pump that is getting weak or is there some sort of multi position valve that is not functioning properly?
