BX coolant change

OK I know Im not the sharpest tack inthe box, but does anybody know a better way of flushing and coolant system on a BX than yanking off the lower hose

Aint there a petcock on the bottom of the radiator? Or is it just a sum beauch to get to?:D:)

It looks like it would be a real sum of a beach to get to and yanking the hose off is such a bloody mess:mad:

I used to do the radiator petcock thing, with hose attached all neat and clean. I then broke the plastic drain valve on my 20 year old F150 ... fortunately outside of where it actually seals.
Now I use a large drain pain (one of those shallow plastic storage tubs) and just yank off the lower hose. Just installed a block heater in the L4060, which went well except for punching out the freeze plug. Never had a problem in the past doing this, but man what a pita this one was. In hindsight I should have punched a hole in the center and threaded a self tapping screw through it and pried it out. I had heard of this method, but couldn't visualize how it works.
