One of the tabs on the battery cover that fits into the bulkhead was broken off, and allowed the cover to bulge out, which bothered me a lot. So, after looking at it and measuring the size and location of the tab, I designed a replacement tab in Tinkercad and printed it out on my 3D printer. I trimmed the area where it mounts with a Stanley knife so it fit correctly, and then used a rasp to rough up the surface where the replacement tab will mount. I roughed up the mating surface on the new tab also, and applied a liberal amount of JB Weld to the area and positioned the new tab where it should be and smeared the excess around to help it bond.
After letting it cure for a day, I put it back on, and it fit perfect.
Another little detail taken care of.
