these tractors have mid-mount pto, what is the best way to keep an implement on the 3-point hitch lifted and lower the mid mount deck for mowing

this works on my other tractors.....
While I have a 3PH kit, it's still in the box...3 years now

What Jay said. I don't think there is any way (w/o chains, straps or other mechanical intervention not built into the machine itself)

The short answer is... you can't do it. The up/down connection for the mid-mount-mower relies on a mechanical connection to the 3pth lift arms. If the lift arms don't go up and down your mower doesn't go up and down. I've attached a photo of the interlinking bracket (orange) with the left 3pth lift arm removed - we can see the lift arm and the orange bracket rotate about the same pin extending from the tractor frame. The horizontal portion of the orange bracket rests atop the 3pth lift arm - if the lift arm goes up, the mower goes up.

The best answer is to put a quick hitch on your 3pth so you can remove and re-install those 3pth implements quickly and easily.

Also, note that a mid-mount mower can be pinned in the UP position while allowing the 3pth to be used for other purposes. It's just the other way around, not using the 3pth while using the mid-mount mower that doesn't work.

Good day. I am not sure what implement you want to keep attached while mowing, but be aware an implement on the back while using a MMM greatly reduces your departure angle (I don’t think what you are asking can be done as orignally purchased - meaning needs some ag engineering / mod)…anyway I think unless you have a completely flat yard there would be potential to rip up sod or crest a rut IMO. (When I leave a ballast box on with hitch I have a couple places where it drags). Keep us posted if you find a solution.

Please forgive my ignorance as I have yet to buy a MMM. All this talk of operating the deck using the 3 point hydraulics is confusing me. I have a B4200, once I get the MMM is this going to by raised hydraulically or, as I assumed, manually with a lever of some sort?
If someone out there has some pics of my set up I would love to see them please. Thanks
