Blew a power steering hose today while mowing. Removed both hoses and will try to get a couple made tomorrow and reassemble.

My question.... when I get it all back together do I have to bleed the steering system or will it self bleed to get air out. If I have to bleed it how do you go about it.....the fitting on all four end are really tough to get to for any kind of bleeding at the hose ends!.

Thanks in advance, Jerry

Install the new hoses, check hyd oil level, start the tractor and turn the steering wheel right and left stop to stop a few times. Recheck hyd oil level. It is self-bleeding.

whitetiger.....thanks, I thought it was probably just like a car or truck just cycling back and forth a few times, but wanted to be sure since there is no return hose.

Appreciate the info
