I have been thinking about buying the sweeper but was just wondering if anybody has used the sweeper on a bx2360 for clearing snow off of sidewalks or driveways. I know it would have to be with in reason like light snow and not very deep. I already have the snowblower, tiller, and loader. any advise or comments would be great.

We have an old front mount mower (not orange) at work and use it for the sidewalks. It works good in snow as long as it is not packed. It does clean off snow down to the cement, just add salt and your done.

Good luck.

I've used my back pack leafe blower to clean off side walks, steps and decks. I dont see a reason why the broom wont work. Like Stone said as long as its not packed snow and powerdery light it should move the snow.

If the sweepers only purpose was to remove snow that would seem a rather expensive method of doing it, Since you already have a snowblower and loader it would seem that either of these would be a method I would choose.

Well he did say he was clearing snow off sidewalks, which I wouldent want to put a heavy loader blower or blade on and scratch the sidewalk all to hell. Or tear up chuncks of cement. I'd say a sweeper is the safer way to clear snow from sidewalks.

Had a chance to use the sweeper for the first time on 1 1/2" of snow. Worked better then exspected. Did 4 driveways and 4 sidewalks in less then an hour.

Nice!!!!! Sounds like a good thing for you. Although less than an hour is barely enough time to have some fun :D:D:D:D
