I have had that issue with a BX2200. It goes into PTO very reluctantly.

Try bending the control lever a bit as you are moving it to another position. The plastic guide for the lever has aggressive stops to prevent accidental engaging. The lever has to be "moved around" those stops.

We often had problems like that on our BX2200, but the BX2660 is much easier. My only suggestion would be what GWD said and check to see if the plastic wrap on the lever itself is binding.

I can't answer for the PTO problem, as I haven't used mine as yet. I find that the high low works well if I just touch the reverse pedal and shift.
I am very happy with the 2360 so far.

yup the 4wd and the high low range do go in much easyer if you kinda play with the direction pedal a bit just s migggggin and it will slip in ,,, the PTO what I have found is at an idle it will slip out of on and is a pain to get inthe other,, some times a light sharp rap will pop it in others a light push,, I have found no easy way to get it in,,come out a lot easyer than it goes in,,,,Hmmm I guess that goes for a lot of things huh:rolleyes:
