Was at TSC this morning looking at their middle buster and was wondering if anyone knew for sure that it will fit my BX 2200. The mounting pins look to be a bit too far apart for the lower 3 point arms and not completely sure they will raise high enough for transport.

Might need to take some measurements and head back over with a tape measure.

I would think so you should be good, I am thinking 24 inches on width and again I am thinking though Im not sue but you should be able to adjust the 3 point to get some more height

Go to your link, then look at the reviews. They used Ford 8N, Ford 640, Ford 2000, JD 2305, 22HP sub-compact. Top link adjustment should be all you'd need to adjust. Not too many negative comments.

Thanks for the replies.

I read the reviews last week and looked at the 3 point arms on my tractor this weekend. The sway adjusters are tightened up slightly but when I looked at the middle buster, the tips of the mount pins appeared to be 24" to 28" wide. Just wasn't sure how wide the bottom arms opened up. Maybe I'll open them all the way up tonight and get a measurement and head over to TSC.

Well the measurements all worked out so I brought it home. It raises up even with the draw bar plate so transport shouldn't be an issue. Just need the snow to melt and the ground to dry up a bit and I'm ready to give it a go expanding the garden and putting in some drainage where it appears the new chicken coop is going. Did I mention one of my daughters went with me to TSC and they had chicks?

Question:
How heavy duty are the wings? The reason I ask is, I've been looking around for something like that to "fab-up" to put/bolt on my ripper and make it more universal for cutting and trenching behind a 50hp.
Maybe a part number for the wing?

We have a couple of them. We use them more for trenching/utility then garden/plots, I put about 500ft of drip line in and dug that with my b6000 so I am pretty sure your bx will do fine. I also pull it with my JD750 which is 20hp, and we got the second one for a 45hp new Holland but we haven't used it on it yet, but it looks beefy enough.

Nothing but Rocks & Roots around here,:D It'll beat digging a ditch 12''- 24'' wide to put in a 2'' line.....lol.

I'll head up to tractor supply today check it out. Just don't want to order one,(wing) and it be to lite for my application.

Thanks!

The wings of the plow blade are at least 1/4" thick, maybe a little thicker. Don't have a part number for it though.
