Buying first tractor - need advice on implements

My wife and I went to the dealer last week and to my surprise she suggested that I buy a new one rather than shopping for a used one. That being said, I now need to select things, rather than getting whatever I get with some used tractor.

I decided on an L2501 HST, 4x4 with FEL and quick release bucket, R4 tires filled with ballast, front manual snow blade, 5' rotary cutter for pasture grass and weeds and a box blade for driveway maintenance.

so, for the snow blade, cutter and box blade, which brands are best? how much do they cost? If my dealer suggests a brand and model, I don't have a frame of reference to know if I'm being handed a good deal or being screwed.

If you are going to a Kubota dealer, then they are going to recommend Land Pride since it is a part of Kubota now. I got Land Pride implements when I purchased my new tractor because they rolled the cost into the 0% interest financing of the tractor.

In most cases their implements are as good as most of the others but maybe a little pricier. If your financing, then the savings on interest will make up for the price difference.

As Mike said the LandPride are good & a good value if financed @ 0%. If not going to finance try Craigslist and save on used.

Land pride is good, if they offer you other brands take the names and post them here then we can give you better answers.

I bought my B2320 about a month ago with a loader, finish mower and box blade.
The implements are all Land Pride and they are sturdy and equipped with the quick 3 point system. Also the 0% financing makes the extra cost for the Land Pride a non-issue.

I think you will be happy with those.

There should be a deal on buying muli implememts as well.
I was able to get the mower deck for $500 when bundled with the backhoe.

Ask for end of season deals.
