I have been searching for a brush hog for months now and I keep coming back to the 4 ft. TSC County Line brush hog. It appears well built and I am only maintaining my own property. I will be using it for tall grass and light brush, bushes, saplings, etc. I have looked at many other brands but they can be twice as much as the one from TSC. I am looking for advise on the size and brand of brush hog. This is my first experience with a tractor and this little guy is a workhorse. I am amazed at the Kubota. Thanks.

I guess I will have to measure the rear wheels. I know the bucket is 4 feet. I think the rear wheels are about that wide. I assume you don't want anything wider then the rear wheels?

My tractor (L1801) is roughly 4 feet wide at the back end but I run a 5 foot mower.

Check out the blade tip speed on the cutter. EX. my SQ 600 Bushhog is about 13,000 FPM. My Bushhog 3008 is a little over 15,000 FPM. The faster the tip speed the better the cut. There's a huge difference the way these two cut and the SQ 600 is way better than the off brand cutter I had on my B 7100 years back. The cut quality on one with a slow tip speed will be very poor.
I just bought a B2320 and the dealer told me to stay with the 4ft on any mower or tiller and I would not be happier with any larger size.
