Recently purchased a piece of property covered with small trees and under brush. Had the property mulched and now we need remove roots, pile up debris and burn. What type of attachment would work best to remove roots from the ground? Initially, I thought a box blade with scarifiers would do the trick however I recently watched a root grapple video and it did a great job.

I don't own a tractor. I have been considering purchasing an L series and wanted to make sure I purchased the most useful attachments should I proceed.

Thanks!

Land scape rake and a grapple. The rake is more forgiving.

Just did this last weekend. I used a box blade to work it up and make piles. Then a grapple to get the piles up and help out once the ground ws loose
