Any recommendations for a magnetic block heater? I will be storing my tractor in an unheated garage and it will probably get used once a week or once every two weeks. Temperatures can get down below 0 degrees F at times. Also, where is the best place to "stick" it. Thanks!

I found that the side of the oil pan was the only place with enough steel and flat space to hold it. Around here it is rarely more than a few degrees below freezing, so I probably was not getting much benefit from it. I found that the glow plug time and cranking time did not improve much when the heater was working.

My brother in law got me one from his tool dealer at work a few years back. Didn't work very well. I could hold it in the palm of my hand when it was on:eek:! Make sure your able to return it if your not happy with the one you get.
