So here in Alberta Canada we just had a cold snap and it’s always hard on the machines. Anyways, my m100x always stays plugged in and when I started it after checking my fluids it coughed and spit as it’s -30 out. Once it warmed up I let it idle at about 1000 rpm. When I rev up and use my hydraulics, the rpms become very chaotic and the exhaust smokes a great amount. At first I thought it was the fuel but my other equipment isn’t acting up on the same fuel . I used some howes diesel treat on it and tried it another day. Anyone had this happen? I change my fuel filter every second oil change. I’m thinking of purging my fuel lines. Any advice appreciated

Presuming that this problem is related to the cold, it could be frozen condensation or waxy residue somewhere in the fuel system restricting flow. If you've got one, try aiming a kerosene fired torpedo heater at the tractor engine area, and run that for a while. Keep the business end about 2 feet away from the tractor engine block.

So I found the problem. The problem with the rough idle is the frozen water seperator. Took everything apart and rinsed with kerosene the filter , the ring and the container . Also , for anyone wondering bleeding the line will also be beneficial. Back in business .
