I have a 1978 B7100 HST-D that has been in my family since the early 80's. I have done a lot with this little tractor and its amazing for its size! I have recently deveolped a rather large hydraulic fluid leak mid tractor. I think it is the seal where the forward and reverse valve is in the right hand side of the pump. It leaks like crazy when running and is defiantly lower than the filter. I circled the area that the drops form on but I can see signs of leaking above that area.
So my question is would you think my assumption is correct in what is leaking? Then also how in the world do I go about getting to that area? Is my only option to split the tractor? Any insight is welcomed!
