Hello All, hoping someone can help me figure out this issue. I received my brand new tractor with the backhoe already attached. When I try to use the backhoe I noticed that it did not move correctly, as in it was extremely slow dipping the bucket out and trying to swing the boom left was also slow.
After messing around with the controls I finally figured out that the problem was not hydraulic in nature, but is really a problem of the control levers not sitting centered in the cover. Just leaving them in a neutral position has them sitting much closer to the outside side of the opening, which means when I move them toward the inside position there is a pretty good size gap from the lever stem to the opening. But when I move them to the outside position they contact the opening side before the hydraulics functions. I removed the rubber boots, and that helps, but there is still not enough room to function correctly.
Other than bending the control stems I can't really see an easy fix. Any ideas? Thanks for any help...........RR

I think this is probably in the wrong section, will move to Implements section, sorry

Mine has lots of clearance between the lever and the edge of the openings. Sorry I can't say why yours is different but if it is brand new I'd be on the phone to the dealer first thing Monday. Sounds like something is not assembled correctly.

Welcome to the OTT forum RR.

I have to agree with Bikerdib. I would have been complaining to the dealer first thing. I would have told him that his service people didn't checkout the tractor before it was delivered and that they had better get it fixed ASAP.

Yeah, should have stated that I have been in contact with Dealer, they thought it was air in system and would work itself out, but I have figured out that is not the issue. They will come and get it, but was hoping not to have it carted all the way back to the Dealer and then back home.
Thanks for looking, will report back on what is done to fix it......

sounds like the control sticks are not centered and likely the control valve linkages are twisted up. I had the same issue, just opened up the access cover and re-aligned the them.

Let your dealer correct it for you.

Congrats on the new machine. I think you'll like it.

Thank you DirtyDeed! that is exactly what I was hoping to hear, pretty much was my thinking but I didn't want to open the tower until someone pushed me that direction.
Thanks again to everyone for taking the time to listen to my problem and being so helpful on working towards a solution...........RR

I agree with the others I adjusted mine so the sticks didn’t hit the sides in any position and all is great now.
