Have a fairly old B8200 and one of the metal hydraulic pipes just sprang a leak. I have someone who is going to braise it for me but looking at the four pipes and their condition, this could be the start of an issue. Dealer says pipes for my model are not available (Ser # 50551) and not having much luck online with any thing BF300A. Can the metal pipes be replaced with hose or does anyone have a source for replacement metal lines.

Replacement steel lines can be bent up by your hydraulic shop, and can also be replaced by flexible lines, depends on aesthetics and cost on which way you want to go.

Before trying any repair work, it might be prudent to use a good degreaser and keep in mind it will be difficult to thoroughly clean the micro-cracks. I'd let it set in a good degreaser, such as brake clean or similar for several hours if not over night.

Although new parts are not available perhaps new old stock can be found on ebay or used parts at some of the places that deal in such.

Good luck.
