Looking for a box blade that is fairly well made that won't break my bank account.

Found some nicer ones online but shipping is almost $400.

Thanks for any leads.

Please post what you are willing to spend. It will save everyone a lot of time. What one person considers breaking the bank another may consider pocket change. $1000, $1500, $2000, $3500? Everything is relevant. ;)

Used from tractor dealer or Craigslist. Many users never put significant wear on a box blade. And it is easy to spot defects as little is hidden.

IIRC, I paid right under $500 for a 60" from Tractor Supply.

I bought a used 48" KingKutter from the dealer for $300.

Well made? Yeah, but not heavy duty by any means. Looks like it had been put through its paces couple times. I think it's 325 pounds +/- - which isn't heavy for a 4' BB.

Work for me? Absolutely, but I don't have a lot of heavy stuff for it to do.

A new 4-footer could have run up to $1,100 - don't remember make/model.
