How do you rig for pulling timber out of the woods?

I only cut enough wood for a fire pit and a smoker which is split at the stump. Since I don;t cut much I borrow splitter from a bbq place and bring them wood in exchange. On occasions when I move a log or powerline pole I take two wraps with chain and grab hook. If I was moving many ongoing I would use an arched skidder or choker.

I have several cable chokers but have to stop when I get to the hard pack because the imbedded rock breaks strands. I built a log tote so I can lift one end and minimize rocks imbedding into the bark on the way to the log deck. The rigging is the easy part. it's getting the logs out without scuffing other trees, rolling the tractor, etc.
