I have been thinking about cutting apart my rear power bagger setup and making it more 3-pt compliant on the BX. Anyone who's ever dealt with one knows how unfriendly they are to hook up and unhook. I saw the new design for the BXs and I have to say, it seems better, but still, you have to disconnect the 3pt arms and hard pin them to the frame. At least now, they do use a top link attachment instead of that awful fixed solid bar they had.

So, has anyone tried to make one more 3pt friendly? I am worried about the driveline angle. That is the only thing I can figure out why they have not already done this because of.

Your right about them being a bear to install.I had also thought about making it fit onto the 3 pth arms. I figure it would work but you'll have to have a longer top link as well as a longer PTO shaft. So once the shaft is longer you won't have to worry about the angle. You'll be moving it away from the tractor the length of the 3 pth arms so longer shaft as well as a longer chute. It'll be a dit different to use because the swing when you turn will also change. If you do change it post pics of your modification.
