I just realized I haven't greased the terminals on the batteries in my equipment. Never have. Do I just use the grease in my grease gun, spray lube or specific battery terminal grease?

Thanks from a novice.

I use Penetrox or equal (Noalox, etc are similar). Anti-oxidation grease. I use it at the joints between the battery terminals and the mating wire terminals. Clean them up and smear it on.

It's about as clothing friendly as Nickel-Ease:)

If you ask 50 people, you'll get 50 different answers.

Use what ever you like, as long as it's non-conductive.

Personally, I use CorrosionX HD. It prevents and stops corrosion and leaves a waxy coating to help seal out moisture. I've used it on truck batteries for years, works as well as anything else I have tried.

Just my $.02.
