Bat Wing

After shopping off and on for nearly two years, I finally pulled the trigger on a bat wing mower.

I shopped Woods, Bush Hog and Land Pride before buying a new design Woods BW 15.50 with eight aircraft tires (I have some soft ground) and optional LED light kit.

For multiple reasons, my favorite was the new Land Pride 3712 HD 12' model, but it would have cost me nearly $2,000 more than the 15' Woods and I would have needed to pay someone to deliver it whereas the dealer who sold me the Woods delivered it without charge even though it was nearly a two hour drive each way.

Time will tell if I made the right choice.

I have no photos, but you can easily find Woods BW 15.50 mowers on the net.

The Woods 15' and 20' bat wing mowers are new designs, having been recently redesigned.

Woods, Bush Hog, and Land Pride all had pros and cons, and I could not get all of the pros and none of the cons in any model that suited my purposes so I made my best guess.
