I would like to get a backhoe for my place. Looking at 3pth mounted units, not sure it's the best way to go. My L2250 is 30 years old and I don't want to wreck it. Does any company make frame mounted units for older tractors?

I'll start by saying this is my opinion based on my experience.

I've had both types of backhoes and the 3pt type is disappointing to say the least. I imagine you can still get a frame mount from Kubota which is the only way to go in the backhoe department.

Now if it was me instead of spending that much on a new backhoe I suggest looking for a used mini trackhoe. You can get 10x the work done in the same amount of time. I wouldn't go back to a backhoe if you gave me one.

I got a gofor digger, a coupla years ago. Course mine is Kubota powered, paid/traded $3 grand for it, have dug a few holes around the farm, I like that it doesn't tie up a tractor...

The sad part about that video, it lacks the "working aspect", as I'm pretty sure you could have removed that stump with a hand shovel, pretty rotten! ;)

It was the first short video I could find on youtube, give me a break... Mine is much dirtier and leaks a little from one of the rear stabilizers...:D:D
