Hi everyone, Bit of a newb on backhoe options for the 2018 M6060.
We have a L2550 w/ a 4590 (seems same as a 469) on a 3pt connect-up. Never felt is was all that super-sturdy... but works for small jobs.
For the M60, Thinking I would like something like 9' to 11' reach and some better muscle. (besides, the bro-in-law has the L2550/4590 at his place).
So 3pt, and now hearing about 4pts. I also saw a video from Messicks about a subframe-assy kit for BH's to put on your rig to keep it from snapping. Anyone putting subframes for support on theirs aftermarket? Sounds like a pretty sound idea.
Add all that up-is there a safe choice for a backhoe to pop on around the ranch on the M6060? Would prefer used due to budget. Looked at a few used Woods BH1050, one noted it was from a M6040 ?
So after rattling on... Can someone assist w/ a safe and effective solution for a backhoe... it'll go on, work, and go back into the barn.
