I would not go with a 3pt backhoe myself. I don't believe Kubota recommends it either. There has been case breakage reported with 3pt mounted units.

Hold out for a subframe mount, it is much easier on the tractor.

I found a Bradco 408 which weighs about 1100 lbs.
Or a BH660 Ansung 3pt hitch model. 1000 lbs.
Do you think this tractor would handle that
I second David's motion, wait till you find a the built on kind........
3 points work, but the weight is a huge issue.

Well since the Bradco 408 is a 4 point, sub frame model, that would be my pick, just make sure it comes or you can get the sub frame to fit your tractor! ;)

I think those backhoes are much to large for your tractor. They weigh as much as your lift capacity according to Tractordata. Keep looking for something in the 6 foot range for that size tractor, and as others have said, buy or build an appropriate subframe.

I have a sub frame mounted Woods bh750 ( 7 1/2 foot dig) on my Kubota B7100. It is a good fit/combination. I am not sure of how much it weighs. I would guess in the 800# range. I have front wheel weights to offset some of the backhoe weight and the hoe is mounted very close to the tractor. That Bradco seems to be slightly bigger and heaver than the Woods that I have. If you can get the proper subframe I think the Bradco would work. Don't put a 3 point hitch backhoe on unless it weights lots less than what you are looking at.
