b8200 hst grinding when moving

I replaced the ball joint assembly with a new one doing the same thing going to separate it again and take the hydrostatic unit apart and see if I can find a bearing down in their it almost has to be in the hydrostatic unit because it does it when the range selctor is in neutral position also so whit the range selector in neutral none of the rear end gears are turning
