After shutting down for 15 minutes wont turn over. Battery ok, all lights working, everything out of gear. Turn the key all lights come on, just wont turn over. Assume its some kind of sensor. Any advice on how to check where to start looking ? Thanks

Check the obvious two .....seat and PTO ....
I'm gonna go out on a limb - you bumped the pto lever....the switch is cutting the cranking circuit off.

AS you turn the key - move the pto back and forth a bit, see what happens.;)

I second that suggestion. Turn the key to the cranking position and move the PTO lever. I've found that interlock to be a little touchy on my own machine.

It was the pto switch. Don't know exactly what I did to fix it other than just reach in and clear some debris & gunk. I had been mowing in some tall dry weeds/grass. Anyway it started and I got it out of the field and into the garage where I'll check it out a little better. Thanks much for the advice guys, much appreciated.

for what it is worth - those safety switches can be a royal pain in the .......

BUT - if there was a way to count how many lives are saved yearly - that PITA would all be worth it!;)
