2002 B7800 Kubota. Used yesterday and parked for the night. Next morning went to start and no crank. Usually have 2 red lights when I turn on the key. No red alternator light. Turn to next position and glow plug light comes on as normal. If I jump the starter the tractor starts and runs. Where do I start?

Voltmeter.

Measure the voltage on the battery. It doesn't take much juice to light up a glow plug light.

Measure it running, too. Then we'll know if the alternator is working.

Have you checked the key switch itself?

Have a similar problem with L3560 HST cab unit. Found battery terminals corroded and cleaned those up. Charged battery, green eye is good. Glow plugs come on , heat up and go off. Turn to Start and nothing … no clicks or lights dimming.

Is the seat safety switch the big plunger switch that the seat rests on, on the seat rotating base or the switch embedded in the seat?

Will try the PTO check, although I have never engaged the PTO.

Any other suggestions greatly appreciated.
