Have a B7510. Runs and starts like a charm. Today when trying to start it sounds like dead battery or that the pto is in gear. Lights all work and dash lights work. Brand new battery. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum from Alabama. Did you clean the terminals before connecting the battery? Look to make sure the wire is making good contact with the terminals. Also check where it grounds to the tractor.

My M9000 did that right after I changed the battery in it. I cleaned the post and terminals but after running all day it would start back. Lights worked inside and out but when I would try to crank it would loose everything. Cleaned the battery and cables and everything was fine. Don't have a clue but that fixed mine.

Sounds simple, but did you check all the connections? What do you mean about the pto in gear and what does a dead battery sound like?
