Hello all. I'm new on here. Just found the site and I love my Kubotas. I bought this 2003 tractor new in 2004. It runs and works just fine, but one thing about it has bothered me from time to time. The temperature guage never climbs above the "C" when in use. It has been that way ever since new, so I never thought much about it, figuring that was normal. I questioned the dealer about it a while back, but they wanted me to bring it in to have them look at it. Easier said than done plus they are 40 miles away. I'm just guessing, but shouldn't the needle be about halfway between C & H when you've been running the motor for some time? Thanks, Jack

Welcome to OTT. I'm not going to say you don't have a problem but on my M9000 the heat hand runs at the 1/4 mark on the guage and my L3000 runs just above the cold mark. Does your hand move up any at all? It really wouldn't surprise me at all that it just barely runs above the "C" mark.

On my B7610, the temp gauge runs right at the top of the "C". I think I've heard that is pretty common.

oldpoo - My 2003 B7500 HSD-R has almost 1,450 hours and normally reads just above the "C" also. On a very hot day, under heavy load, a little warmer. When the needle reads about 1/2, I know the radiator screen is getting plugged. Then I watch the gauge like a hawk!

My excavator has same problem, normal operation for it is on "C" , Seems like after the first year or so Kubota would note that they might be having a temp gauge reading problem but this has gone on for years. and replacing sender/gauge is a waste of money/time.
