Sometimes my bucket won't lower, have to push
the lever all the way forward to get the bucket to drop by it's own weight. Tractor has started making a weird noise occasionally too, not sure how to explain it. Hydraulic fluid is over the full line on dip stick but seems low in the resevoir. Could there be a return line kinked or plugged causing this? just found out this mourning when the bucket won't lower all I have to do is raise or lower the gannon a little then it works.

The three point control or three point feed back control needs adjusting.
The noise you are hearing is the hydraulic system going into bypass.
So yes it's a restriction in the return of the hydraulic fluid caused by the three point control being out of adjustment.
