I've had my tractor for almost 20 years and it has always been reliable. Yesterday I parked it and today it will not start. Thanks to this forum I have troubleshot the safety switches and found the clutch switch plug broken and not connected. There is also a wire disconnected from the solenoid that I assume connects to the switch. The issue I have is that the wire from the starter has a single contact and the one off the switch has two contacts. The two plugs cannot reach each other and for the life of me I can not figure out where the plug goes. Does anyone have a picture of where the safety switch connects into the wiring harness? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cjp - The white wire from the front of the starter is not connected to anything on my B7500, as shown in the attached photo.

I'm sorry, but I don't what your second photo shows. Is this a view from under the tractor? I don't know where the clutch safety switch is located, and my mmm is currently mounted so, the underside of the tractor is hard to observe. If you can orient me, I will look for the switch in the morning.

Rusty, thanks for the help! That white wire is solved! The safety second photo is from underneath and is behind

Sorry, fat fingers little letters😂. The second photo is to the rear of the starter on the opposite side of the metal about 8 inches away.

Cjp - OK, found the switch and the wiring. My wiring and connector look just like yours. The two-wire cable from the top of the switch goes straight up, does a 180 degree turn back down, and the connector snaps into mating connector above the cross channel that supports the front of the operator platform floor. The two-wire cable from the mating connector comes almost straight down and enters the wiring harness on the in-board side of the tee (that goes straight down) of the wiring harness. Both halves of the connector can be pulled down a little below the cross channel, but there is not much slack in the wiring. It would probably help to loosen the switch nut, remove the switch from its mount and drop it down. The cable exiting the harness was hard to see and I actually felt it before I saw it. It actually is easier to see in the photos. Hope the attached photos help.
