I have combed through the inter webs trying to find the allowable tolerance and the procedure for setting that backlash for the bevel gears in a B7500hsd. There is a shim in the bevel gear case where the power train turns down from the differential that I need to know how to set and then the shims in the axle housing. I attached pictures of the parts diagrams and am referring to shim 70 in the differential and shims 80 and 90 in the axle. Any help is appreciated. Hoping to eventual buy a service manual but just got the tractor and trying to get it running. The entire bevel gear housing cracked in 2 pieces, which seems common with these tractors.
