B7200hst overflow

Hello,

I recently purchase a B7200hst. I am slowly fixing it up. I didn’t know I bought it with a cracked head and problem manifold so I rebuilt that. I fixed wiring problems and everything works, except for something stuck on fuel gauge. My new problem is sometimes when I put a load on front bucket, hydraulic oil will leak from under the seat and above the PTO arms. We took it apart and there was a small rubber plug that seemed to be in good shape. Any idea why hydraulic oil would come out of that plug after heavy loads in the front bucket? I appreciate any insight you can provide. I can’t find that plug in the manual to replace it. Anyone know that part number?

I have no idea what you’re describing by “PTO arms” in your description of the leakage point.

I am guessing that you mean above the upper arms of the 3 point hitch and under the seat. If it is on the upper side of the housing of the tractor then I would guess it is a port that acts as the vent for the transmission case. Normally there will be a bent tube that looks like a question mark turned on its side screwed in the port I don’t see why fluid would be coming out of that port though. Normally if that vemy gets plugged up then transmission fluid leaks out of the shifter at the transmission cover.

You might also be describing a fill port between the 3 point lift arms that some tractors have. The cap is sometimes lost and replaced with rubber plugs. Again the leak from there would be odd.

Perhaps the hydraulic fluid level is too high and that is causing leaking from any open port?

please post a few more times (5?) trying to explain the problem in more depth and then post pictures of the problem area and plug you are having trouble with.

Thank you for your help. Yes it is above the 3 point hitch arms. Here is the only pic I have right now, will try to take more this weekend. We put it back together and will test as well this weekend.

Pull the brackets above the leak off, There is a vent hidding under there.
Clean and inspect the vent.

Now to why it might be purging fluid.
You said it does it with of loader work, that would tell me the system is probably foaming the fluid.
this can happen from contaminated fluid (normally water in the fluid).
When was the last time it had a complete fluid and filter change?

This can also happen because of a suction side leak in the hydraulic system pulling air in.
Check the large hose / line on the right side that runs from the Transmission / rear end to the hydraulic pump, look for damp oily connections, especially where it goes from metal to rubber

I changed the fluid last July. I had similar issues from the beginning, of my ownership, and I thought it might have been over-full. It went low enough that the bucket started having problems until I put more fluid into it. It did look foamy and their did seem to be air pockets bursting out of it. I will check all of the connections and post back. Where did you find that parts break out? I looked on Messicks and it does not show that part number for 210. Could that plug be faulty? Could you provide a part number or link for that drawing? I am leaning towards it being a hose problem and will check that out soon.

If the fluid is foaming you more than likely have a suction leak, or are using the wrong fluid.

I checked and tightened fittings. Front bucket stayed in up overnight, although it did drop a little bit. It used to stay up for a few hours so it is an improvement. I use the Kubota UTD, or whatever was recommended...I can't remember off the top of my head. I will fool with it some more this weekend and try to put some sort of load on it. Any suggestions on the best way to get the air out of the lines?

Hello All,

I flushed system 6 times and replaced most of the hoses (all the rubber hoses in front) and thought I had the problem fixed. I used it for several hours and then the overflow problem came back. I am wondering if I need to rebuild the control valve. The bucket is a Du-AL 95 but I can't seem to find the rebuild kit for the control valve.

The fluid is foamy so it seems to be taking air in somewhere. I did replace seals in cylinders.

I have to use controls slowly or else the bucket gets bouncy. Sometimes it goes up when I am trying to lower it. Other times it works perfectly.

Any ideas on where to get a rebuild kit? Would I be better replacing it, and if so what/where would I get it?

Are you sure the loader valve is plumbed correctly? Should be two hoses connected to the outlet block on the right side of the engine and a third going to the HST filler cap. The selector lever on the outlet block should be pointing straight out to the right.

I am assuming it is plumbed properly since I didn't change the way it came. I had it at the dealer and they did not comment on it, but again...there is nothing saying they really paid attention. Is there a link that I can find a rebuild kit or even good way to test to see if air is entering via the control valve? I will rebuild or replace if I can figure out where/what the part numbers are. Any ideas?

Doubt you are getting air in the system from the valve but the plumbing is suspect.

The hose on the right-side of the valve should be going to the rear most port on the outlet block. Cannot see that end to tell if its correct.. There should also be a hose going to the hydraulic filler on the tractor and that seems to be missing. Probably not your problem but that would not be Kubota approved.
