B7200 Fan Pulley Counterweight

I am finishing a rebuild on the D950 for my B7200HST. I noticed that the fan pulley on the front end of the crankshaft is counterweighted. Does it matter how it is aligned on the crankshaft splines? If not, why is it counterweighted? I can't find any reference to it in the service manual.

It could be that there is a blind spline?? Dusty

It wasn't in my shop manual, but my local Kubota mechanic found in his that there is supposed to be a single punched dot on the front of the the pulley hub, and it should line up with the timing mark on the crank gear. Mine was almost worn off because someone had failed to use the washer under the crank nut.
