I installed a new fuel pump on a B7100D and it does not appear to be pumping. Any installation tips I may have missed? The new pump arrived with two paper baskets - one looking slightly thinner than the other and I installed one gasket. Not sure if that is a factor or not. Thanks!

What caused you to decide to change the fuel pump (no start)? Is it doing the same thing? Were /are you getting good flow from the tank to the pump? Ensure that the bottom of the tank, the shut off valve, and hose are clear. Where's the filter located (before or after the pump)? Is the new pump from Kubota? It would be strange for the lobe that drives the pump to be the problem. Have you tried cranking the engine over with the discharge from the pump into a can? If you're getting fuel out of the pump, ensure that the cutoff (manual/solenoid)is opening. Good luck

I replaced just as I was restoring everything else. I pulled the hose from the pump and see fuel pushing so appears pump is working. I keep cranking it over to bleed the line with air plug open but yet to see fuel or air bub exit. I recently replaced the fuel lines and injectors. Any way to speed up the bleeding process before I smoke my starter?

Close the air plug once fuel comes out and then crack each injector line until lots of fuel comes out. The B7100 has to be bled right to the injectors.
