Hello I have a B7100 from I think the 70s, The engine wont start, exhaust smokes when turning over but thats all. I replaced the lift pump bled the air, no change, I took the injector pipes off and unscrewed the unions into the injector pump and took out the valve pieces then wound it over, out of the 3 injector pump holes the end ones pushed just fuel, the middle pumped fuel with a lot of air bubbles... Is that correct? If not what would be the cause.
Many thanks.

I don't know why you took the pump apart.
You need to have all the parts in the pump for it to work properly.
The parts you pulled out are check valves, with them out it's just going to suck air in and out of the pump.

I am not sure if this is new tractor for you, or one you have had for a bit. Make sure you are hitting the glow plugs a bit, before you attempt to start it. Mine will not start, unless I hit the glow plugs for 20 seconds or so, then if fires right off. If you are already doing this, make sure your glow plugs are good.

Hello, this is an old tractor and new to me, I replaced the heater plugs and have them on for about a 40-50 seconds, I took the 3 valves out of the injection pumps to see what's going on, when turning over the engine each pot is filling with diesel except the middle that's filling with diesel and air bubbles, where are the bubbles coming from?
