B7100-HST mid PTO not working?

Hello all,
I just purchased a used Kubota. It has a mid PTO on it, and I just installed a mower deck on it. However, I am not able to figure out how to get the PTO to engage!
There is a knob on the left side of the seat that controls the PTO. moving the level back (towards back of tractor), puts it I think into low speed PTO. I can see the back drive shaft spinning. But when looking under the tractor I do not see the mid shaft spinning. Is this correct?
What do I do to get the mid PTO to go?
There is a HIGH location if I slide the lever forward. Its blocked at present with a bar. I read somewhere that you should only use this speed with specific implements, so was hesitant to try it.

anybody out there have one of these B7100 tractors with the mid PTO that can give me some insight into how it works and how I engage it!

Move the lever to high (relocate blocking plate).

Wolfman? Would you know where I could get a copy of the user's manual? All I have is a copy of a B7200, and an older copy of a B7100 manual tranny.

Wolfman, yep, the mid PTO is now working! yippie! spent the last hour mowing my field.

Now I gotta figure out what is wrong with my FEL....

Go to kubotabooks.com and download the three part WSM, and the OPS, and the parts manual, get the right one as there is several, Oh and while your there, stop by and pick up the parts manual for your loader too.
