I posted on this a week ago but the details/photos were not very good so here goes again.
I have a 1983 B7100, recently bought (in NZ) when I checked underneath I can see two exposed splines, one to the transmission and one from the FWD diff and the main drive connection. The tans spline is chewed up on the end, looks as though there has been a failure in the past.
Could anyone shed light any on what may have happened and what might need to be done to fix this.
