Hey Everyone,

I was thinking of replacing the glass on the engine hour gauge on my B7100HST-D. It is shattered. Not sure if I can pull the gauge and easily remove the glass or not, does anyone have any experience doing this? I have a glass cutter so I can fab a new piece easily. just need to know if it is possible to take apart the gauge to insert the new glass?

I just tossed mine a few weeks back, because it was bad. From what I remember, I don't believe there was an easy way to take it apart.

I opened one on one of my B7100's a couple of weeks ago because the gauge stopped working and I was hoping to repair the guage so I could keep it original for resale if I wanted to sell the tractor. It was not very difficult. I started sith a small jewelers screwdriver and worked my way around the outer rim. It is bent over the edge of the gauge housing. It takes a little work but if you are careful you can remove the outer ring and glass. I think you can purchase new replacement lenses on ebay. To reseal I used a combination of needle nose pliers and a slightly larger screwdriver to push the ring back into shape.

Great! Thank you so much for the advice!
