B7000, throttle creap and 4wd

My B7000 has throttle creep. Is there a easy fix?
Have tried dirt and spray adhesive at knob closest to drivers seat but problem still exist. Is there a internal friction ring mounted on the motor?

Second item--cannot get tractor out of 4wd unless I reaaallyyyy pull hard on lever--don't want to break it but seems the force I am using is really close to doing just that breaking the lever.
Have left in 4wd for past three months--tractor used mostly to remove snow and move dirt.

I don't know about the throttle as far as specifics, but I have had throttle creep on other machines, and it amounted to adjusting a nut that set the friction/tension- I would look for that on the pivot shaft of the throttle lever.
As far as 4WD, are you reversing the direction of travel, and pulling on the engagement lever? Driving in 4WD creates driveline tension, depending on how tight your turns are. Reversing direction as you disengage it tends to unwind things. It may be mechanical- I'm certainly not trying to insult your intelligence. But, that is a free, first thing to try.
Have you replaced the tires recently? If you did, did you change tire sizes? That will also create a huge amount of bind, when the ratio between front and rear tires is changed. You might try jacking the front end off the ground, get all tension off the front tires, and then try disengaging. If you've done these things, or try then and it doesn't work, than I would assume that there it is an internal issue. I am assuming that the B7000 is the same as the B7100, with a simple lever on the right side- no external linkage.

I have tried all of the items you mentioned with regards to the 4wd but seems to make no difference.
It goes out of 4wd hard--but goes back in easy.

There is a linkage at the top of the motor with regards to the throttle linkage.
The books and manuals I have do not speak to any adjustment possible.
It has two or four bolts that secure it to the top of the motor. It may be I need to remove the bolts and the friction adjustment is inside the motor.

fixed my 4wd problem--its called WD 40--there is a small steel marble hidden from site that drops in and out of a indent.

Now on to my throttle creep. I have included a picture of the top of the motor where the throttle linkage attaches. The bolt/all thread goes into the top of the plate and pivots on the bolt/all thread. I would assume there is some type of internal washer/ clutch plate that I need to replace????

Just snug up the nut on the pivot point in the picture. You will have to loosen the lock nut first.

That did the trick--as a footnote both nuts turned at the same time but fixed the problem.

You need to hold the bottom nut and tighten the top nut to lock them together so they wont just back off again.
