B7000 help

My uncle gave me a Kubota B7000 tractor. Everything is in decent shape. Steering could be replaced and right brake doesn't work at all. I have two questions, first I would love to find parts to fix steering and brakes. 2nd is how do you know what the rpm it's running at with no gauge. I was told to run it at 3000 rpm but have no idea. I've been running it up to my confrt level?

I want to say the B7100 should be the comparable model to get parts for. And as far as the engine rpms I don't have a tach either and I just kinda run my engine by ear and how well the pto implement is working.

I do the same, but just makes me nervous. Don't want to over rev the engine. Thanks... Anyone else?

Was I correct in saying that the B7100 is a close match to the B7000 for parts?

Well this morning I was cutting the field next to me and can't get the lift to work. Cant raise or lower the brush cutter. ?????

Might need a hydraulic oil change and replace the filters and clean out the suction screen. Could be old fluids in there.
