i am a proud new owner of a used B6200 i got a really good deal on it . but had many rigged up things on it i have been restoring and painting and getting used to how it works i have downloaded a user manual as well..i had a problem with steering and broke the shaft nut and the bearings as well i heard it crack and i ordered a new one from Kumar Bros and they warrantied the one i broke i guess i didnt put it in correctly its not rocket science but it come with a bushing or sleeve for the bearings i didnt install these but put the bearing down in the steering box the illustration shows the sleeve as well . but the steering rod wont go all the way down with the sleeve for the bearing and i think its why it broke...any suggestions? what im looking at here? i have found nothing googled till my eyes bleed.

Welcome to OTT Kevin!

Not sure I know 100% what you are trying to explain but you tube has a few videos showing tractor/ Kubota Steering Box Rebuilds that may answer the questions that you are not sure about. You might see something in the videos that will help.

If not hopefully someone here will chime in and help.

I helped my uncle replace his steering shaft on his 8200 and we got the shaft from Kumar Bros. as well and that was a year ago and everything is still good with it so far.
