Hi all,newbie to this site.
I have an older B6200E Kubota I inherited from my father in law about 8 years ago. It was used pretty regularly when he had it, mowing between the rows of Christmas trees. As we no longer have the trees, it has been pretty much just sitting, used occasionally maybe 5-10 hrs a year since I've owned it. It has 743.9 hrs at the moment.

So, a few days ago, installed the battery, started it up, and all was good. Moved it to where I needed it, when it sort of coughed a bit, then stalled. Tried starting it again, no go. Figured the way it stalled it was a plugged fuel filter (haven't changed it in a few years). Got a new filter installed, filled the filter, tightened it in, bleed the injector lines, tried starting, nothing. Turns over fine, but won't fire. Checked to see if there was power to the glow plugs, there is. Noticed the first injector line had lots of fuel leaking, nothing out of the middle injector, and bubbles out of the 3rd one then all fuel . Tried bleeding several times.

Any suggestions out there??

I'd drain the fuel. You may have an algae growth in the tank. If so, you'll have to get it cleaned out. New fuel and an algaecide if there is a dark growth in it.

I too suggest new fuel.

Does your injection pump have the air bleed shown on the page attached?

Are you bleeding the injectors one at a time. Should not do all at once.

Hi all, thanx for all the suggestions. Yes, water is a possibility, as is algae. I've read on another site that I should drain the fuel tank, clean it, and put new fuel in it. (The fuel in the filter was a little dark)
I don't remember noticing the air bleed on the injector pump, but will look today.
Also, when bleeding it, I only did one line at a time, but didn't have the throttle on full. Will do that after I drain and clean the tank.
Thanx again.
Will post any results if/when I figure out anything, and I get her up and running again.

Hi all,
Well, got her started.
I drained the fuel tank today, and checked the inside of the tank. The fuel "looked" like regular diesel. The tank appeared shiny inside. Wiped along the bottom with a clean metal rod and a rag, there wasn't any slime on it. Pulled the fuel filter again, the fuel inside "looked" normal, but dumped it as well.
There was an air bleed knob on it, so opened it. Noticed one connection from the lift pump (?) was loose, so loosened the fuel line to the injector and tightened it. Then bled each fuel line at the injector, one at a time, at full throttle. Closed the air bleed knob. Used the pre-heat, turned it over and away she went. (YAYYY!!!)

Guessing old fuel, possible air lock from the loose connection on the one injector line. I also cleaned up and lubricated kill lever from the engine stop .

Thanks for posting the end chapter. Too often, once the problem is solved, some do not update the story which hinders those searching for a solution in the future.
