I was doing a service on my 6100e and everything seemed good till I was screwing the transmission fill cap back in and right at the end it just twisted off with almost minimal effort. The problem was what was already in the threads was frozen and would not come out and I had to chisel it out. My worry is a good bit of that material fell down into the brand new hydraulic oil I put in the transmission. Does this mean that I'm draining that and putting new stuff when I get my new cap in or is there a chance it would be fine with that plastic material just getting chewed up in there.

I have about a gallon and a half more of the fluid so my theory is run it a little bit since the hydraulic screen is in place let it chew it up and then let it sit and drain some out once it's settled. hopefully get most of that crap out and clean the hydraulic filter. Then top it off with the fluid I have left.

What little pastic is in there I wouldn't worry about it.
It's probably not going to "drain out" as it will just get stuck on gears and such.
Run it as normal and then on the next fluid change clean the filter screen.
