B6001 external hydraulics?

Hello guys,

I have made a small tipper trailer for my B6001.
Currently I am tipping it with a hand operated pump, but I would like to make it tip using the tractor's hydraulics (since the piston has a volume of only ~3 liters).
In the operating manual for the B6100 there is a page about the external hydraulics. (attachment)
Apparently there is a grip on the external hydraulics port of a B6100 to switch between the 3pt hitch operation and external hydraulics operation.
My B6001 seems to lack this grip, but he does have a external hydraulics port as you can see in the images. So if I remove the bolt, will my tractor pump endlessly oil in the piston of my trailer and won't my 3pt hitch be able to move anymore?
Can anyone help me clarifying this?

So, I will always need a second control valve to make the oil flow back out of the piston (lowering the trailer) into the tractor?

Yes, as note #2 in the printed instruction sheet you posted states.

While Vic is right in the strictest sense you COULD get away without any valves if you are using a single acting cylinder!
If you install a quick coupler onto the port that has the big plug in it on your TPH ( shown in the pictures you presented) and run a hose from that QD to the cylinder on your trailer you would be able to lift AND dump your trailer using the TPH control valve. the only thing you'll have to do is restrict the tph from coming completely to the top by some mechanical means. ( a chain around the TPH arms and the hitch?) To operate your three point hitch normally just remove the chain AND the hose going to the trailer!
If you are using a double acting cylinder you could have a slick 2 speed lift with the addition of a three way ball valve!

When you put the TPH lever forward (drop position) the oil will flow back from the trailer cylinder just like it does from the TPH cylinder.
