I know a stupid question .. but on my B6000 I cant physically find the Generator /Dynamo. I have the handbook, I see the dynamo on the wiring diagram .. but where is it? I was expecting it to be driven off the fan belt. Sorry for being dumb! a description of pic would be great. many thanks.

I assume it is in the same location as on my B7100. It is driven by the fan belt. The fan is actually mounted to it. It is the location that you would expect a water pump to be located. These small Kubota engines do not have a water pump.

I recently did some B7100 volunteer work with my wife's company, loading 12 tons of decomposed granite into wheelbarrows for delivery to a closed in backyard. (sure beat shoveling like we did last time)
Anyway, some of the guys wanted to see the engine.... I showed it to them, explained that it had no water pump, and that what looked like the water pump was really a dynamo. They did not believe me, and are still convinced I'm nuts.
