Correct, it's the Z500. I've seen the tiny tach and that would work but I would really like to have an analog style tach... just not sure how to run one off the diesel. I've read some run off the alternator, flywheel, and of course some are gear/cable driven.
This is exactly the type of meter I would like to have, what I mean by that is it has the needle for the tach and the hour meter below it:

The weights came on it when I bought it. they are two piece. The rear wheels are mounted inside out right now so does that mean that these weights are meant to be mounted between the wheel and tractor, in other words on the inside of the wheel??? Also the PO had hung two wheel weights on the front to help counter the weight of the finish mower. They are cast but not sure what they fit on... look like maybe 12" rims
